My home installation was carried out last December, when if you recall the weather was extremely bad with snow, this obviously caused some inevitable delays however the home installation team kept me fully informed as to what they would do and when ..... weather permitting.

There was no internal mess whatsoever all the equipment was fitted in the loft or garage both accessed from within the house but shoes/boots were removed on all occasions without my insistence.

Thank you very much for the work you carried out here on Thursday. I have never had any grant work before, so when your representative called some while ago I had no expectation that I would get anything this time. However he explained very clearly what could and could not be done, what little disturbance there would be and that somebody would be in touch to set a date.


The contact was duly made and the date set, the projected time being 1pm. Bang on time your men arrived. They were smart efficient and started work as soon as the plant and materials were on site. They refused any refreshments and carried right through to completion. I found the whole thing most impressive. Thanks again.

The Warm Front Scheme Explained?

Viscount Insulation have joined forces with the Government to bring you the 'Warm Front Grant'
 

The Warm Front Scheme helps towards the cost of installing insulation and energy saving heating measures up to the value of £3,500, or £6,000.  This is when Oil Central heating is needed or an alternative low carbon heating can be put in place.

Viscount evaluates your home to make it warmer and more energy efficient.

Everyone is entitled to a warm front grant however, it can cover the full cost if you are on certain benefits or on certain disability benefits. To be elegible you must be a homeowner or live in rented accomodation that is owned by a  private landlord.

The 'Warm Front Grant' is only available in England although there are other grants for people who live in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The Government have funded The Warm Front Scheme and it is managed by the company Eaga.

How much do you get from a Home Heating Grant?

Dependant on circumstances you may be able to apply for heating and insulation improvements grant for up to £3,500 or where oil central heating or other alternative energy saving technoligies are recommended you could receive upto £6,000.

If you have received a grant before, you may qualify for extra measures, depending on the measures you originally received.

If the work doesn’t cost more than the grant available then you will pay absolutely nothing, the difference may have to be funded by yourself. The Viscount team will not commence work until you have confirmed that you can cover the costs.

Loft insulation helps keep the heat in your home therfore, making your home more energy efficient. Giving you savings of upto £150 per year on your energy bills

Cavity wall insulation

Cavity Wall Insulation helps keep the heat from escaping through your walls saving you money on energy bills and making your home more energy efficient.  Giving you savings of upto £115 per year

Hot water tank insulation

Fitting a hot water tank insulation jacket is like putting a winter coat on your hot water tank, it prevents heat escaping. Viscount Insulation checks your insulation around your hot water tank to make sure that it is the right thickness and fits a beneficial cover if necessary.
