As global warming continues to affect our planet and the price of fuel continues to rise, the need for energy efficient households becomes ever more prevalent. Effective insulation and modern heating systems are the first major steps towards reducing our reliance on the environmentally-damaging, finite supplies of fossil fuels.

Viscount Environmental was formed in 1992. Our core business has always been the provision of insulation measures to residential buildings, but our repertoire stretches across the entire energy saving spectrum, from draught proofing through to central heating installation.

We now employ over 150 staff and are well-known across the country for our high standards and efficiency. Working in close conjunction with a number of local authorities including Wakefield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley, East Riding, Kirklees and Rossendale, as well as many local housing associations and registered social landlords, we work to make tenants homes energy efficient. As a contractor under the UK government’s “Warm Front” scheme, we work to provide insulation to the homes of people on benefits.

We’re members of a number of trade bodies, including BBA, NEA, NIA, CIGA, BSC, CORGI, NICEIC, and CHAS, and all of our contractors are qualified and trained above and beyond the minimum standards.

As time has gone on, our reputation as an installation company with an unbeatable level of quality has been cemented. We work endlessly to uphold this reputation, and go all-out to ensure that every project we undertake is completed to the best possible level.

As a direct result of Viscount’s work in the energy efficiency field, over 100,000 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide is saved each week.
